Custom Home Builder in Washington, DC

Four Washington, DC projects are on this site: the Ontario Residence, Logan Circle, the Logan Circle Penthouse, and Cumulus House. The work is new construction, a gut renovation, a combination of two units, and the rebuild of an unfinished house.

David Jameson, FAIA, designed Ontario. Todd Webb of Dirk Denison Architects designed both Logan Circle projects. Meditch Murphey Architects designed Cumulus House.

Ontario is a four-story row house from 2014 on a 14-foot lot near Rock Creek Park. Metal-clad walls veil the neighbors, a perforated-steel stair carries light through the floors, and a roof deck looks toward the park. PureForm Builders, led by Steve Howard, built it. It received a 2020 Residential Design Architecture Award and was featured in Architectural Record. Logan Circle is a two-level condominium. PureForm executed a wall-to-wall build-out, and the residence was published in Interior Design. The Logan Circle Penthouse, built by Square One in 2022, combined two one-bedroom units into one home, with a steel and limestone stair and Vitrocsa glass. Cumulus House was a half-built shell left before drywall. Square One took it over and rebuilt it in AAC block, with a geothermal system and radiant floors.
